Lincoln Place is a neighborhood in Granite City, Illinois. It was a hub for immigrants from eastern Europe and Latin America in the early twentieth century. Along with partners in SIUE’s History Department and the Lincoln Place Historical Association, I coordinated an ongoing oral history project to document the neighborhood’s history.
